Project Goal
I was tasked by Answers in Genesis to create a design for our 2025 refillable cup program at the Ark Encounter. This cup could be purchased at the Ark Encounter as a souvenir, this means the design must encompass the message of the Ark Encounter yet be appealing to the everyday guest.
Design Initiative
Before the design process, I wanted to come up with a theme, or message that I want to convey through the cup. After some deliberation, I decided upon the tagline, "Trust in God's Plan", which is very reflective of Noah's faith in God during the time of the Great Flood. I decided to used Adobe Photoshop to create a unique composition highlighting the "construction" aspect of the ark, as Noah had to trust in God's plan throughout all of the hard work that went into crafting the ark.
