Project Goal
The goal of this project was to create a self-mailer for a pre-existing event that would be sent to potential attendees advertising for the upcoming event. For this project, since I'm into electronic music, I decided to create a mailer for the annual Amsterdam Dance Event, which is a five-day conference and festival held in mid-October.
Design Initiative
I stuck with the black and yellow color palette of the festival and incorporated imagery from the festival site to make it look as if it was an official invite. I wanted to use both images and color in a bold, unique way to make the mailer stand out so the mailer would be memorable, reflecting the experience in which attendees would get if they registered for the event.
